Corrosion Resistance and Sulfide Stress Resistance
Certain corrosion allowance is left for the body wall thickness. The carbon steel stem, fixed shaft, ball, seat and seat ring are subject to chemical nickel plating according to ASME B733 and B656. The valve material are to meet Nace MR 0175/ISO 15156 or Nace MR 0103 according to customer request, fully meet the reuqirements in standards and meet the service conditions in sulfurization evioronment.

Fully welded ball valve are used mainly in Gas Transmission and Distribution pipeline (Mid-stream), typical for underground and buried installation. Fully welded ball valves normally adopt forged steel body; however, cast steel body is also available. There are normally extended stem for fully welded ball valves used for underground. The main advantage of fully welded Ball Valves is that there is no leaking path through the joints.
